Are you interested In teaching guitar with Rochester’s School Of Guitar:

We’re searching for passionate, high energy guitar players with a desire to teach, to join our instructor team at our growing school of both beginner and intermediate-level guitar students.

Ideal instructor candidates will be:
1) A people person who enjoys being an instructor and entertainer at the same time
2) A proficient guitar player
3) Willing to learn the school curriculum including playing techniques, class format and pass written examinations to ensure quality control of instruction
4) Open to feedback and training from Head Instructor

Notes on the job:
1) This is a part-time (10-15 hours per week) employee position, not a contractor position.
2) Starting pay is based on experience and is negotiable within the range of 18-28/hr. Factors that play into this starting wage include your guitar playing aptitude, teaching experience, ability to teach the school’s curriculum, student and owner reviews.
3) Teaching experience is preferred but not required. We have a training program for less experienced applicants.
4) Having availability during daytime hours, 7 days a week at 11 am – 2 pm is preferred.
5) Weeknight shifts from 5 pm to 8 pm also are available.
